You want to be fair and truthful to your followers. You want to make sure all the information you offer is honest without adding any bogus information. When you are providing facts you need to make them well defined, exact, and not hard to understand. If you are creating a blog topic on a very provocative issue avoid using any ones names or places. This will protect you from any lawsuits and also from distressing your visitors feelings. A good slogan for this code of ethics would be, reply to others what you would wish them to reply about you. You also want to be sure that you preserve a person's privacy. Invading a person's privacy is arrogant as well as meddlesome and could cause you a lot of problems. If you do not want someone doing it to you then do not do it to others. A noble way to abstain from violating this superior blog ethics code is to refrain from using names or places if at all plausible. If it is inescapable try to use as much damage control as possible.

3. Be Accountable:

You have to consent to the consequences that may come with your blog. If you have made a blunder in any of your postings disclose it right away, do not try to avoid it. Everyone makes mistakes and if you own up to yours you will be more respected in the readers eyes.

If somebody happens to question your data on your blog open up a conversation with the person. Try to realize why they feel the way they do and if they prove to be right, apologize to the person and concede that yes you are right I did make a blunder. If you are not accountable for your blog you will be in violation of the blog code of ethics and as a result, you will lose followers.
